Tourism is travel for the purpose of recreation, holidays or business. World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people “traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes”.

Tourism is important and in some cases it is important for many countries, like France, Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, United States, Britain, Spain, Italy and Thailand, and many Island Nations, such as Mauritius, the Bahamas, Fiji, Maldives, the Philippines and Seychelles. It takes huge amounts of income in payment for goods and services available, contribute approximately 5% for the rest of the world gross domestic product (GDP), and it creates opportunities for employment in service industries related to tourism.

This service industry including transportation services, such as airlines, cruise ships and taxis; hospitality services, such as accommodations, including hotels and resorts; and entertainment, such as amusement parks, casinos, shopping malls, where the music and theatre.
